CMR Consignment Note
The consignment note for international road transport in Europe, issued in three copies.
Governed by the CMR Convention. Three copies: red for the sender, blue travelling with the goods to the consignee, green retained by the carrier.
It evidences the contract of carriage and, once signed on delivery, serves as proof of delivery. Unlike a bill of lading it is not a document of title.
