Container Freight Station (CFS)
Where LCL cargo is consolidated into containers and broken out again at the other end.
Every LCL shipment passes through one at each end. That adds handling charges, a delivery order at destination, and extra days that do not show in the transit time.
For cargo going to the US, the CFS address is also the container stuffing location required on the ISF. You will not have that address unless you ask the consolidator for it.
