Gross Weight
Goods plus packaging plus pallet. The figure that must match across every document.
Gross weight appears on the packing list, the bill of lading and most transport documents, and a destination broker reconciles it across the set. It has to be identical everywhere it appears.
It is not the verified gross mass, which additionally includes the container's own tare and is therefore legitimately higher.
